Teacher Collective
A collection of lesson and unit plans from teachers (both in-service and pre-service) who have explored the zoo with a Zoo STEM Teach approach. This is a living collection, updated multiple times a year with new and fresh interpretations of how to use the zoo to plan and teach rich and meaningful STEM activities and experiences.
What people are saying...
"It was interesting to think of different activities that could be done at the zoo that tie in with the Australian Curriculum, such as locational geometry, shape, measurement, estimation, ordering, and many more. I would definitely recommend doing this in a school."
Third Year Pre-service Teacher
"The zoo trip taught me there is an incredible amount of STEM connections in everyday life that I can and will continue to use."
